I spent a few hours this morning reading through people’s blogs and, again, I was inspired by the amount of energy, passion, love and focus there is across this planet to help each other out.
One blog I came across was solution oriented to a serious issue that many global communities are facing today.
For the past few weeks, I have been looking for the perfect solution and the universe sent me to the right place. So I took it as a sign that it was time to take action.
Communities all around the world aren’t thriving because they have little or no access to clean water due to drought, poor infrastructure and/or lack of government initiatives.
As the adult human body is made up of 70% water and babies’ bodies 85%, humans can only survive for three days without water. Clean water is one of our physiological needs to survive.
As situations like drought can happen anywhere in the world, I wondered who would help my community if we faced not having clean water. Would you help? Would I help yours?
My answer was a resounding yes, we would. Irrespective of what is going on in our lives, the majority of us has an inherent desire to help our fellow humans.
For more than 20 years, Water.org has been helping people to access sustainable solutions. Together, we can make a difference in the world and help to change the lives of thousands of people.
- To raise awareness of Water.org.
- To raise $1000 for communities to gain access to clean water.
- To help 40 people survive and thrive.
For only $25, Water.org can provide safe water to one person for life. If we can raise $1000, we will help 40 people to survive. That is the equivalent to two classrooms at your local school.
And this is only what we are aiming to achieve – hundreds of people have launched a fundraiser for the same cause. Imagine the amount of people this cause will help; is helping and has already helped? This shines a bright beaming ray of light down from the universe right into my soul.
So, without much thought to be honest, I, like many others, started a fundraising page to get this action started.
If you would like to pledge a donation please click here. You don’t need to pledge a lot as every little bit counts. And please remember, all it takes is $25 to help one person to survive and thrive.
Until tomorrow ~ Live life, love life
